For the last year, I partnered with Monitor reporter Cari Hammerstrom on a project that starts with the raw crime statistics in our county for the past 10 years, analyzes and humanizes them, and presents them in real-world terms. What does it mean? What are the problem areas? Is it getting better? Are we safe? I am now pleased to present a collection of the images that ran in our paper as a 5-day series.
