A Blackhawk helicopter on loan to the Texas Forest Service from the National Guard takes off from the scene of a brush fire near La Gloria that burned over 1,200 acres on Tuesday. Two of the helicopters aided firefighters by dropping water from the air, and authorities credited them with saving 4 homes that were threatened by the flames.
