Photo by Alex Jones..German Danilo Figueroa said he left the Honduran capital city of Tegucigalpa in May, and spent 3 months hopping trains through Mexico to reach the United States border. After swimming across the Rio Grande, he hitched a ride to the Sullivan City Police station, where he turned himself in to be picked up by the Border Patrol on August 10. Under a proposed new program, Figueroa and others from countries other than Mexico that enter the United States illegally would no longer enjoy the easy entry that they do today.
